Engines and Performance
The 2022 BMW X2 has three engine configurations: The all-wheel drive xDrive28i, the all-wheel drive M35i, and the front-wheel drive sDrive28i. The xDrive28i and sDrive28i are powered by an eight-speed automatic 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine capable of producing 258 pound-feet of torque and 228 horsepower. The M35i is equipped with a more powerful 2.0-litre turbo that kicks out 301 horsepower and 331 pound-feet of torque.
The 2022 Audi Q3 can be purchased in two engine configurations: a 2.0-litre four-cylinder 40 TFSI or a 2.0-litre 45 TFSI engine. Both engines have an eight-speed automatic transmission. The 40 TFSI has a maximum power of 221 pound-feet of torque and 184 horsepower. The 45 TFSI has a slightly more powerful engine and kicks out 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque.
The X2 will give you an estimated 10.2km/L in the city and 13.6km/L on the highway, which is 1km/L better than the Q3. The X2’S acceleration is much better too. The X2 reaches 100km/h two seconds faster. It must be mentioned that the X2 has a top speed of 230km/h, while the Q3 has a top speed of 211km/h.
Premium Features
Both SUVs have unique features which may attract different buyers’ styles and tastes. The X2 comes standard with high-gloss chrome 8.9cm diameter exhaust tips, an HD radio with FM multicast reception, a head protection system, and a satin exterior aluminum trim.
The cabin has a 22.3cm infotainment touchscreen, Bluetooth, a USB port, a 10-speaker sound system, and a navigation system. Other important tech consists of BMW Teleservices, Connected Drive, Remote Services, and smartphone integration. Additional BMW Assist eCell, parking sensors, and Active Driving Assistant are included in the X2 as standard.
The X2 can be upgraded to two separate packages: the M Sport Package and the Edition GoldPlay Package. The M Sport Package includes an aerodynamic kit, a sport steering wheel, and 48.2cm wheels. When you upgrade to the GoldPlay Package, you get an upgraded suspension, M Sport stitching, and more. The Q3 has heated exterior mirrors, a sunroof, a 26cm instrument panel, leather upholstery, a 22.35cm touchscreen, mobile integration, and triple-zone climate control.
