Infotainment and Technology Features
The standard infotainment system is hosted on a 10.25-inch display, with an option for a larger 12.3-inch display. Running the BMW operating system, it supports Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, satellite radio and USB connections. Another 12.3-inch driver information centre is standard, giving you access to essential vehicle stats.
Exterior Design
With the typical X elements on the front fascia, the SUV has a distinctive appearance to emphasize its breadth. The redesigned bumper with vertical air inlets and angular BMW kidney grille exudes authority on the road. The areas add a more modern appearance with LED rear lights in the new three-dimensional shape. Standard wheels are 19-inch light alloys with an option for 18-, 20-, and 21-inch wheels in different finishes.
Interior Comfort and Cargo Space
Inside the vehicle, you will find a clean design, allowing easy access to user controls thanks to the rotary controller. Standard features include heated and power-adjustable front seats, auto-dimming rearview mirrors, and a heated and telescopic steering wheel. Optional extras such as ambient lighting, heated passenger seats and a wireless charging pad will add to the price if you want to add them. The cargo area can hold 550 litres with all seats in place and 1,600 litres with the rear seats down.
Performance Features
The standard engine is a 2.0-litre TwinPower Turbo inline four-cylinder with an eight-speed automatic transmission. It provides 248 horsepower at 5,200 rpm and 158 lb-ft of torque at 1,450 rpm with a combined fuel efficiency of 9.3 L/100 km.
Safety Features
Apart from the six standard airbags, the X3 xDrive30i has intelligent features to help identify and mitigate hazardous situations. The lane departure warning alerts you of any unintentional drifts away from your lane and can take action with active braking. Other features include rear cross-traffic alert, hill holder, anti-collision system and low tire pressure monitor.
