Performance Specs
There are two engines available for this lineup. The BMW TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder is standard on the entry-level model. It produces 382 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. The other trims come with the BMW M TwinPower Turbo eight-cylinder, which delivers 523 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque capacity. Regarding fuel efficiency, you can expect to use 11.76 L / 100 km in the city and 13.06 L / 100 km on highways.
Design Elements
The new BMW 8 Series provides unparalleled sportiness without sacrificing interior space. All trims come with leather upholstery, varying in colour and style. You can make it look even more elegant by adding CraftedClarity glass applications. It’s possible to improve the Coupé’s exterior design with the M Carbon exterior package, which includes a diffuser insert, front bumpers with spoiler elements, and carbon fibre-reinforced plastic on the exterior mirror caps. The Integral Active Steering system is standard across the lineup. It means better drivability at any speed with more manoeuvrability at lower speeds and more stability at higher speeds. This lineup also comes with an Adaptive M suspension, automatically adjusting the damper according to the situation to improve dynamics and overall comfort. The optional Bowers & Wilkins Diamond sound system ensures you’ll have the perfect soundtrack for your journey.
You’ll never drive alone in the new BMW 8 Series, as all models include the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant. It allows you to control the vehicle with voice commands and provides detailed information about the vehicle’s conditions.
